IL HB5407

Amends the Personnel Record Review Act to allow school districts to disclose an employee's disciplinary records to other school districts when an individual applies for employment.

Expands the definition of "individual" to include both job applicants and volunteers who will have direct contact with students.

Adds a new exception (paragraph d) to the notice requirement, allowing information sharing between school districts without the written notice otherwise required by the Act.

Maintains existing exceptions for employee waivers, legal proceedings, government agency requests, and criminal investigations.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
