Amends the Workers' Compensation Act to include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a compensable condition for firefighters, EMTs, EMT-I, A-EMT, and paramedics arising out of employment.

Amends the Workers' Occupational Diseases Act to define "occupational disease" to include PTSD affecting first responders employed as firefighters, emergency medical technicians, or paramedics.

PTSD qualifies as a "condition or impairment of health" under existing rebuttable presumptions for first responders, requiring employers to prove the condition did not arise from employment.

The presumption applies only to employees who have worked in these positions for at least 5 years at the time they file a claim with the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
