Requires every public high school in Illinois to include a curriculum unit on the naturalization process by which foreign citizens and foreign nationals become U.S. citizens.

Course instruction must include content from the components of the naturalization test administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Each school board determines the minimum amount of instructional time required for the naturalization unit.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
