Allows currently married persons to request a marriage certificate free of gender-identifying language by completing an affidavit with the county clerk, changing terms like "bride" or "groom" to nongendered terms such as "spouse" or "Spouse 1".

Requires that when one spouse requests a nongendered certificate, both parties must be listed with nongendered identifiers on the certificate.

Keeps the original gender-identifying language in the clerk's permanent records unchanged; the request does not permanently alter the official records.

Requires both spouses to appear before the clerk, indicate consent, and complete an affidavit if both parties request to change their gender identifiers from one gender to another (e.g., "bride" to "groom"), with the option for a permanent change if the county is technologically able.

Mandates that nongendered certificates issued by the clerk shall not include any language indicating the certificate has been amended or that it is not a true and accurate record.
