Creates a Task Force on the Funding of Commission-authorized Charter Schools to examine current funding provisions in the Charter Schools Law and ensure funding equity.

Task Force will review the impact of charter school funding on local school districts following evidence-based funding provisions of Public Act 100-465 and examine effects on students and district budgets.

Task Force will examine the role of local school districts in the charter school renewal process.

Task Force consists of 15 members including legislative appointees, the State Superintendent of Education, school district superintendents, charter school representatives, and members appointed by the Governor from education organizations and associations.

Task Force must issue a report with recommendations on charter school funding law changes by February 15, 2020 and dissolves upon filing the report.
