Recognizes that the Veterans Administration currently provides dental care to only about 500,000 (5.6%) of the 9 million eligible veterans, with full dental coverage limited to 100% disabled veterans and former POWs.

Notes that the VA Dental Insurance Program (VADIP) is unaffordable for most veterans and that poor dental health is associated with serious conditions including pancreatic cancer, Alzheimer's, diabetes, and heart disease.

Urges the Illinois Congressional Delegation to co-sponsor and support H.R. 96, federal legislation that would require the VA to furnish dental care in the same manner as other medical services.

Recognizes the right of all veterans to have full coverage for dental care as part of their earned benefits.

Directs delivery of the resolution to all members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation.
