Declares January 23, 2019 as ISU Mennonite College of Nursing Day in Illinois to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Mennonite Sanitarium Training School's founding on January 23, 1919.

Recognizes the Mennonite College of Nursing's evolution, including its establishment as an independent college in 1982 and transition to Illinois State University's sixth academic college on July 1, 1999.

Acknowledges the college's academic expansion since joining ISU, including increased undergraduate enrollment, added master's program sequences, doctoral programs (Ph.D. in Nursing and online Doctor of Nursing Practice), and an accelerated Bachelor of Science option.

Notes the opening of a state-of-the-art nursing simulation lab in 2011 and the college's balance of maintaining traditions while modernizing.

Directs the presentation of a suitable copy of this resolution to the ISU Mennonite College of Nursing as a symbol of respect and esteem.
