Expresses dismay that James William Kilgore, a former member of the 1970s Symbionese Liberation Army terrorist group, was employed as an adjunct instructor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as recently as 2017

Documents that Kilgore was a member of the SLA, which kidnapped heiress Patty Hearst in February 1974 and robbed a bank in Carmichael, California on April 21, 1975, during which innocent customer Myrna Lee Opsahl, a 42-year-old mother of four, was murdered

Notes that Kilgore remained a fugitive for over 27 years before his arrest in South Africa in November 2002 and was convicted of federal explosives and passport fraud charges in April 2004

Calls upon the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to instruct its personnel that Kilgore shall not be considered for any future ties or contractual relations with the University

Directs that a copy of this resolution be delivered to the Chancellor of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
