Declares February 17 to February 23, 2019 as Grain Bin Safety Week in Illinois

Documents that more than 900 grain bin entrapments have occurred in the past 50 years with a 62% fatality rate, including 24 entrapments with 14 fatalities in 2015 and 38 entrapments with 17 fatalities in 2014

Recognizes the importance of education, awareness of hazards, routine equipment inspections, and emergency action plans to reduce grain-related injuries and deaths

Acknowledges Grain Bin Safety Week as an annual observance organized since 2014 by Nationwide Agribusiness and held during the third full week of February to promote safety on farms and commercial grain-handling facilities

Recognizes the involvement of multiple industry organizations and insurance companies in promoting grain bin safety awareness
