Urges U.S. Congress to pass legislation providing visas and work permits to undocumented parents of U.S. citizen children or DACA-eligible children, with visas renewable every three years based on proof of no criminal convictions and continued residence with eligible children under age 25.

Calls on Congress to pass a clean DACA bill that grants eligible recipients immediate security and a road to citizenship without additional conditions or restrictions.

Requests Congress maintain and extend family-based legal immigration and immediately stop the separation of families at the border and deportations that separate children from parents or result in de facto deportation of U.S. citizen children.

Identifies approximately 325,000 TPS (Temporary Protected Status) recipients from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Haiti with 273,000 U.S. citizen children facing family separation due to cancellation of TPS protections.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the President, U.S. Senate leadership, U.S. House leadership, and all members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation.
