Designates March 2020 as "Illinois Whole Child Month" to recognize the importance of ensuring each student is challenged, supported, healthy, safe, and engaged in learning.

Urges parents, educators, and community members to support a whole child approach to education that addresses students' comprehensive needs through shared responsibility.

Calls on every school in Illinois to celebrate Whole Child Month by adopting and promoting at least one whole child tenet throughout the month.

Identifies current educational performance gaps including 86% high school graduation rate, only 35% of 11th graders meeting math proficiency, 37% meeting English/Language Arts proficiency, and only 73% of high school seniors enrolling in college within 12 months of graduation.

Directs presentation of a copy of this resolution to the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
