Honors the memory of Sheila H. Schultz, a Wheeling resident for over 65 years who passed away.

Recognizes her service as the first female village president of Wheeling, elected as trustee in 1979 and serving as president for 16 years.

Acknowledges her leadership on major initiatives including the purchase of Palwaukee Airport, creation of a human rights commission, establishment of Wheeling's first senior center, and construction of a modernized Metra train station.

Notes her roles as president of the Northwest Municipal Conference and active participation in the Northwest Water Commission, Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County, senior center, and historical society.

Extends the House's sincere condolences to her family and directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Schultz family.
