Honors the memory of Shawn Denise Johnson, a long-time Waukegan resident who passed away on September 20, 2020

Recognizes Johnson's founding of the Image Beauty Institute in December 2014, the first and only State of Illinois Department of Regulations Nail Technology School in Waukegan, which graduated over 30 students who became professionally licensed nail technicians

Acknowledges Johnson's development and founding of the "From Jails to Nails Life Management Skills Reentry Program," a curriculum-based program helping individuals with non-violent convictions reintegrate into the community after incarceration

Commemorates Johnson's volunteer work supporting women with recidivism issues and those lacking employable job skills

Extends the House's condolences to Johnson's surviving family members: four children (Stephanie, Stephen, TraMane, and Mark), six grandchildren, twin sister Dawn Johnson, sister Charlene Valdez-Simelton, and mother Ethel Lene Rogers
