IL SB0074

Prohibits the Legislative Ethics Commission from adopting any rule requiring the Legislative Inspector General to seek advance approval before commencing investigations authorized under the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act.

Voids any existing rules as of the effective date that required the Legislative Inspector General to seek the Commission's advance approval before beginning investigations.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
