Establishes a Worker Protection Unit within the Illinois Attorney General's Office with Assistant Attorneys General to enforce wage, workplace safety, and fair employment laws.

Grants the Attorney General authority to investigate and enforce violations of the Prevailing Wage Act, Employee Classification Act, Minimum Wage Law, Day and Temporary Labor Services Act, and Wage Payment and Collection Act.

Authorizes the Attorney General to obtain monetary damages, restitution, injunctions, and civil penalties up to the maximum prescribed by law in worker protection cases, with a prohibition on double recovery for the same violation.

Creates a Worker Protection Task Force coordinated by the Attorney General consisting of Assistant Attorneys General, three State's Attorneys, and directors from Labor, Employment Security, Human Rights, and the Workers' Compensation Commission to coordinate statewide enforcement efforts.

Task Force is repealed December 1, 2021, with a required progress report to the Governor and General Assembly by December 1, 2020.
