Creates the Preferred Terminology in Government Documents Act to establish "Asian" as the required term for referring to persons of Asian descent in all State and local government documents enacted after the effective date.

Prohibits the use of the term "Oriental" when referring to persons of Asian descent in State and local government statutes, codes, rules, regulations, and official documents.

Finds that the term "Oriental" is outdated and pejorative, and that "Asian" is the preferred, modern, non-pejorative terminology that should replace it.

Urges all State and local entities to review and revise their existing statutes, codes, rules, regulations, and official documents to remove the term "Oriental" when referring to persons of Asian descent.
