Extends the sunset date for the Medical Practice Act of 1987 from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2022 (moves from Section 4.29 to Section 4.32 of the Regulatory Sunset Act).

Reduces physician license fees effective July 1, 2018: initial licenses from $700 to $500, and renewal fees from $230 to $167 for residents and from $460 to $250 for nonresidents.

Eliminates provisions requiring transfers of $1,100,000 from the Illinois State Medical Disciplinary Fund to the Local Government Tax Fund on specified dates between 2014 and 2018.

Updates service of notice procedures to allow personal delivery, email, or mail (removing requirement for registered or certified mail only).

Changes pronouns throughout the Act from "they/their/them" to "he or she/his or her" for grammatical consistency.
