Amends Section 1-1 of the Illinois Election Code to make a technical grammatical change to the short title provision.

Changes the citation of the Act from "the the Election Code" to "the Election Code" by removing a redundant article.

Confirms that the Election Code remains the general election law of Illinois and that all references to "the general election law" in other Acts refer to this Code.
