IL SB1273

Adds new subsection (d-5) allowing park districts to sell real estate to other units of local government or school districts with a four-fifths board vote if the district is wholly within that government's limits or if the sale price equals the average of 3 certified appraisals.

Requires park districts to obtain appraisals from MAI certified appraisers or state certified/licensed real estate appraisers when selling property under the new subsection (d-5).

Applies to real estate not subject to park use covenants or that has not been conveyed and replaced as provided in existing law.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
