IL SB1334

Amends Section 12-201 of the Illinois Vehicle Code regarding when lighted lamps are required on motor vehicles.

Removes language requiring head lamps to be lighted during sunset to sunrise, during rain/snow/fog, and when atmospheric conditions prevent vehicles from being discernible at 1,000 feet.

Eliminates the specific time-based and weather-based requirements for when head lamps must be activated on all motor vehicles except motorcycles.

Takes effect January 1, 2020.
