• Removes booking photographs from the standard arrest information that must be furnished within 72 hours after arrest under the Freedom of Information Act.

• Limits law enforcement agencies from publishing booking photographs on social media for civil offenses, petty offenses, business offenses, Class C misdemeanors, and Class B misdemeanors, except when assisting in searches for missing persons or fugitives.

• Prohibits any person or entity publishing criminal record information through print or electronic media from making booking photographs available before an arrestee's conviction, unless necessary to address an imminent threat to public or personal safety as determined by the chief law enforcement officer.

• Allows booking photographs to be furnished within 72 hours of arrest only if there is an imminent threat to public or personal safety.
