IL SB1359

Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 to regulate the sale and display of imitation handguns (air guns, air pistols, B-B guns, paint ball guns, pellet guns, or similar implements designed to resemble handguns).

Requires all imitation handguns to be sold from behind the counter, in an age-restricted area, or in a sealed display case.

Defines a violation of the display requirements as a Class B misdemeanor, distinct from other air rifle violations which are petty offenses.

Authorizes State Police, sheriffs, and police officers to seize any air rifles sold or used in violation of the Article at the owner's expense.
