Prairie Research Institute shall conduct a detailed review of scientific literature and federal and state laws, regulations, and rules to identify threats of microplastics to human health and the environment, subject to appropriation.

Institute must submit a report to the General Assembly within 3 months of completing the review with findings and recommendations for legislative or regulatory actions to protect human health and environment from microplastics.

This requirement is repealed on July 1, 2021.
