IL SB1413

Restores the ability of counties to collect court services fees in civil cases for court security services, reversing a repeal enacted by Public Act 100-987 effective July 1, 2019.

Amends Section 3-6023 of the Counties Code to reinstate the reference to Section 5-1103, allowing sheriff expenses for court security to be paid from court services fees collected under that section.

Modifies Section 905-43 of the Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act to remove Section 5-1103 from the list of repealed sections, thereby preserving the court services fee provision.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
