IL SB1752

Amends the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act to prohibit former Illinois Gaming Board employees and their spouses or immediate family members from accepting employment or compensation from any person or entity licensed by the Board, including contractors to licensees, for one year after leaving Board employment.

Prohibits Board members and individuals with certain relationships to Board members (spouse, child, parent, or those with romantic/sexual relationships) from being employees of or having contractual relationships with any gambling operation subject to Board jurisdiction, including video gaming operations.

Allows the Governor to remove a Board member who violates the prohibition against relationships with gambling operations, in addition to existing grounds for removal based on neglect of duty, misfeasance, malfeasance, or nonfeasance in office.

Prohibits Board employees and individuals with specified relationships to employees from being employed by or having contractual relationships with gambling operations subject to Board jurisdiction, including video gaming, with violations subject to termination of employment.
