IL SB1840

Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law to require the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to conduct an official mailing survey of all persons licensed or registered under regulatory Acts subject to repeal under the Regulatory Sunset Act.

Survey results must be compiled into a report submitted to the Governor and General Assembly at least 12 months before the scheduled repeal date of the regulatory Act.

Survey must include questions on how Act requirements protect Illinois citizens' health and safety, how the Act protects the profession from bad actors, suggested regulatory improvements, and effectiveness of continuing education requirements.
