Excludes salary increases from overload work or promotions from triggering additional employer pension contributions in the State Universities Article when certain requirements are met.

Excludes salary increases from overload work, promotions, or coaching/extracurricular duties from triggering additional employer pension contributions in the Downstate Teachers Article when certain requirements are met.

Excludes payments to career and technical education teachers holding specific professional educator licenses or educator licenses with stipulations from triggering additional employer pension contributions under the Downstate Teachers Article.

Applies to contracts and collective bargaining agreements entered into, amended, or renewed on or after June 4, 2018 (Public Act 100-587 effective date).

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
