IL SB1987

Amends the Illinois Procurement Code by adding Section 55-25 regarding procurement reporting requirements.

Requires each chief procurement officer to submit annual reports to the Governor and General Assembly by April 15, 2020, and every April 15 thereafter.

Reports must cover contracts with a total value exceeding $20,000,000 and include procurement goals and actual spending for female-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned enterprises from the previous calendar year.

Goals and actual spending must be expressed as percentages of the total work performed by the entity submitting the report.

Reports must be submitted in searchable Adobe PDF format.
