• Creates the Illinois State Police Cadet Class Fund as a special fund in the state treasury to be used by the Department of State Police to fund an annual cadet class.

• Redirects $1 from electric vehicle registration fees (currently $100 annual fee) to the Illinois State Police Cadet Class Fund instead of the Road Fund.

• Redirects $1 from vehicle registration fees for first division motor vehicles to the Illinois State Police Cadet Class Fund, reducing Road Fund deposits from $49 to $48 per vehicle.

• Applies the same $1 redirection to second division vehicle flat weight tax fees and mileage weight tax fees, reducing Road Fund deposits from $99 to $98 per vehicle.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
