IL SB2284

Amends the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) to exclude state shared revenues distributed by formula to units of local government from GATA requirements.

Exempts revenues from the Local Government Distributive Fund, Personal Property Tax Replacement Fund, Motor Fuel Tax Fund, and Transportation Renewal Fund from GATA compliance obligations.

Clarifies that GATA requirements continue to apply to state grant-making agencies that make state and federal pass-through awards to non-federal entities.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
