Students entering 9th grade must complete 3 years of math, including Algebra I and geometry content; the bill adds financial literacy as an option for one course or part of one course

Financial literacy joins Advanced Placement computer science as an alternative that can satisfy part of the mathematics graduation requirement

Applies to pupils entering 9th grade after the bill's effective date; does not affect students with disabilities whose coursework is determined by an individualized education program
