Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act to expand the definition of "race" to include traits historically associated with race, such as hair texture and protective hairstyles including braids, locks, and twists

Applies specifically to the Employment Article (Article 2) and the Elementary, Secondary, and Higher Education Article (Article 5A) of the Human Rights Act

Prohibits discrimination based on natural hairstyles in employment and educational settings throughout Illinois
