Amends the Election Code (10 ILCS 5/1-1) to make a technical change to Section 1-1 concerning the short title of the Act.

Changes the citation language from "the the Election Code" to "the Election Code" by removing a duplicate article.

Maintains that the Election Code serves as the general election law of Illinois and applies to all references to "the general election law" in other Acts.
