IL SB2754

Removes specific fee amounts for milk facility permits and directs the Department of Public Health to determine application fees by administrative rule instead.

Requires permits from the Department prior to operating milk plants, receiving stations, transfer stations, cleaning and sanitizing facilities, milk hauler samplers, milk tank trucks, and certified pasteurizer sealers.

Grants the Department authority to determine and assess late fees for permit renewal applications received after permit expiration, replacing the previous statutory late fee schedule.

Directs all permit fees to be deposited into the Food and Drug Safety Fund.

Effective January 1, 2021.
