Allows retired Chicago firefighters to receive occupational disease disability benefits if they have not reached compulsory retirement age, have been receiving retirement annuity for 5 years or less, and have a qualifying occupational condition.

Firefighters receiving occupational disease disability benefits cannot simultaneously receive a retirement annuity during the benefit period.

Occupational disease disability benefit terminates when the firefighter reaches compulsory retirement age.

Qualifies firefighters with heart disease, tuberculosis, lung or respiratory diseases, AIDS, hepatitis C, stroke, and certain cancers caused by occupational exposure.

Exempts the State from reimbursing implementation costs under the State Mandates Act.
