Amends Section 3-14.25 of the Illinois School Code concerning unfilled teaching positions and subject shortage area certifications.

Regional superintendents of schools must maintain and make available to the public a list of unfilled teaching positions within their region during regular business hours.

The current list must be posted on the regional office of education's website, or if unavailable, provided to the State Board of Education for posting on the state website.

Regional superintendents must certify to the Teachers' Retirement System that school districts have complied with requirements for authorizing employment of retired teachers in subject shortage areas.
