SB3004 Summary

• Amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971 to allow annuitants, survivors, and retired employees whose coverage was terminated for nonpayment of premiums to re-enroll during the next annual benefit choice period if they fully pay all previous nonpayments before re-enrollment.

• This re-enrollment provision is temporary and becomes inoperative on January 1, 2022.

• Effective immediately upon passage.
