IL SB3012

Amends the Probate Act of 1975 to require that petitions for appointment of a temporary guardian for an alleged person with a disability must be filed at the time of or after filing a petition for adjudication of disability and appointment of a guardian

Requires petitions for temporary guardian appointment to state specific facts including the name, post office address, and for individuals, the age and occupation of the proposed temporary guardian

Establishes a minimum 3-day notice requirement before hearings on petitions for appointment of a temporary guardian, with notice given by mail or in person to the alleged person with a disability, proposed guardian, and other parties listed in the disability adjudication petition

Requires the same 3-day notice before hearings on petitions to revoke a temporary guardian appointment, with notice to the temporary guardian, original petitioner, and listed parties

Allows courts to waive notice requirements upon a finding of good cause
