IL SB3016

Amends the Pollinator-Friendly Solar Site Act by modifying Section 10 concerning site management practices at ground-mounted solar sites.

Changes language to clarify that solar site owners may provide native perennial vegetation and foraging habitat beneficial to game birds, songbirds, and pollinators through a grammatical correction.

Requires solar site owners or managers to use native plant species and seed mixes free from noxious weed or exotic weed seeds when establishing perennial vegetation and beneficial foraging habitat, to the extent practicable.

Maintains existing requirements that site management practices reduce storm water runoff and erosion at solar sites.
