IL SB3061

Removes the requirement for the Department of Central Management Services to prepare annual reports on cost reductions in state health insurance for university retirees resulting from requiring them to contribute to basic health insurance coverage.

Eliminates subsection (c) of Section 15-158.3 of the Illinois Pension Code, which previously mandated these health insurance cost reduction reports be submitted by November 15th annually.

Retains existing requirements for reports on self-managed plan participation rates and reductions in compensable sick leave costs under subsections (a) and (b).

Updates references in subsections (d) and (e) to reflect that only the report under subsection (b) is now required, rather than multiple reports.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
