IL SB3094

Amends the Election Code to allow election authorities to cluster up to 4 contiguous precincts during general elections and general primary elections, in addition to consolidated elections, consolidated primaries, special municipal primaries, and emergency referenda.

Creates "clustered voting zones" where multiple precincts share a common polling place located within the territory of the clustered precincts.

Requires at least one election judge per precinct in a clustered voting zone, with judges not all affiliated with the same political party, and allows judges to perform duties for the entire zone.

Specifies that voter assistance, instruction, mail ballot examination, and disputes over voting eligibility, challenges, and ballot counting must follow existing code requirements by precinct.

Exempts municipalities with more than 1,000,000 inhabitants from these clustering provisions.
