Requires the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to adopt rules within 12 months mandating 6 hours of education on diagnosis, treatment, and care of cognitive impairments including Alzheimer's disease and other dementias for persons seeking medical licensure.

Mandates continuing education rules requiring an average of 2 hours per license year on cognitive impairments and dementia care for all licensed physicians serving adult populations.

Specifies that training curriculum must cover diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias with emphasis on recognizing signs and symptoms, person-centered care, assessment and care planning, and culturally competent health care.

Applies education requirements only to physicians who serve or will serve adult populations.

Amends the Medical Practice Act of 1987 by modifying Section 11 and creating new Section 20.1 regarding continuing education requirements.
