IL SB3202

Amends Section 1-2 of the School Code (105 ILCS 5/1-2) to make a technical grammatical correction to the construction clause.

Changes the capitalization of "The" at the beginning of the construction provision from a standalone word to lowercase within the sentence structure.

Maintains the existing legal principle that provisions in the School Code that match prior statutes are construed as continuations of those prior provisions, not new enactments.

Preserves the rule that references to prior Acts of the General Assembly or their sections in other statutes continue to refer to those provisions as codified in the School Code.
