Amends the County Jail Act to require the State to reimburse counties for costs of maintaining incarcerated persons ordered by court to Department of Human Services (DHS) for mental health treatment if DHS does not provide bed space within 30 days of sheriff notification.

Reimbursement applies to persons charged with offenses and ordered to DHS custody under Section 104-17 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, or persons sentenced to misdemeanor imprisonment, county impact incarceration, or periodic imprisonment and ordered to DHS custody under the Unified Code of Corrections or Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code.

State reimbursement obligation begins after the 30-day period following the sheriff's notification of the court order to DHS for the cost of maintaining the person in county jail.
