Amends Section 9-2 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934 to make a technical change regarding referenda on retail sales of alcoholic liquor.

Removes one instance of the word "the" before "last preceding Federal census" in the provision describing population thresholds for cities, villages, and incorporated towns.

Applies to municipalities with more than 200,000 inhabitants as determined by the most recent Federal census.

Maintains existing procedures for petitioning to hold referenda on prohibiting alcoholic liquor sales at the precinct or street address level.
