IL SB3295

Increases monthly damage recovery for wage underpayments from 2% to 5% of the unpaid amount under the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act.

Allows employees to recover damages for each month that underpayments remain unpaid following the payment due date.

Applies to employees not timely paid wages, final compensation, or wage supplements by their employers.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
