SB3297 Summary

• Allows monthly income to be verified using a single pay stub with monthly income extrapolated from the pay period covered, rather than requiring multiple months of documentation for Children's Health Insurance Program Act, Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act, and medical assistance eligibility determinations.

• Removes fixed reimbursement rates of $72 for home health visits and $20 for certified nursing assistant component of home health agency rates (effective July 1, 2014) from the Illinois Public Aid Code.

• Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to adopt rules implementing a psychiatric Collaborative Care Model similar to requirements under the Illinois Insurance Code.

• Extends the repeal date of the Illinois Health Information Exchange and Technology Act from January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2026 under the Regulatory Sunset Act.

• Requires long-term care facilities to complete and submit a self-reporting assessment form with payment to the Department; repeals the annual audit requirement for the County Provider Trust Fund.
