Modifies the definition of "collocate" or "collocation" in the Small Wireless Facilities Deployment Act to mean either mounting/installing an antenna on a pre-existing structure or modifying a structure for that purpose.

Changes terminology throughout the Act from "collocate" or "collocation" to "install" or "installation" in various contexts regarding small wireless facilities.

Allows authorities to require in residential historic districts that small wireless facilities be placed on existing utility poles or wireless support structures within 850 feet of the proposed installation, or reject the application if no such structures exist.

Changes the minimum distance requirement for alternative structures from 100 feet to 850 feet when an authority proposes an applicant use an existing utility pole or wireless support structure instead of installing a new one.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
