IL SB3310

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to include online instruction as part of approved driver education courses offered by licensed driver training schools.

Authorizes the Secretary of State to permit course providers to offer driver education online if they can verify the identity of students and confirm completion of the entire course.

Requires the Secretary of State to establish electronic verification methods and post on its website a list of approved providers, their fees, and contact information.

Mandates that course provider fees bear a reasonable relationship to the actual cost of instruction.

Requires course providers to collect an additional $5 fee per student to offset the Secretary's administrative costs, with fees submitted within 14 days and deposited into the Driver Services Administration Fund.
