SB3336 Summary

• Adds chiropractic services as a covered service under Illinois medical assistance program, including services performed by licensed chiropractic physicians within their scope of practice and chiropractic manipulative treatment.

• Removes the provision that eliminated adult chiropractic services as a covered service under the medical assistance program (effective July 1, 2012).

• Amends Section 5-5 of the Illinois Public Aid Code to expand the list of covered medical services to include item (16.5) for chiropractic physician services.
